What we offer

Six things we got right (so far).

  • Pay that respects your work

Salaries benchmarked against the social-sector median, reviewed annually, and published in bands across the team.

  • Real time off

30 days of leave a year, plus a quiet two-week organisation-wide pause every December. We mean it when we say rest.

  • Health for you and yours

Comprehensive medical insurance covering you, a partner, two children, and parents. Mental health support included.

  • Learning budget

Every team member has an annual ₹40,000 budget for courses, books, and conferences — no approvals needed for the first ₹15,000.

  • Field-first culture

Even the founder spends two weeks every quarter at a project site. We don't make decisions in rooms our work doesn't reach.

  • An honest workplace

Anti-harassment policy with an external committee, transparent grievance redressal, and a manager you can actually disagree with.

How we hire

Three steps. No trick questions.

  1. 1 · Application

Send your CV and a short note (no more than 300 words) on why this role, why Nirbhar.

  2. 2 · Conversation + task

A 45-minute call, followed by a take-home task closely tied to the role. We pay for tasks that take more than two hours.

  3. 3 · Field day + offer

Spend a day with the team you'd join. If it feels right both ways, we send an offer within a week.
